Future Living began in 1989 when parents (whose adult children with disability were leaving old-style institutional settings) asked the Activ Foundation to set up an organisation to help them make secure and robust plans for the long-term future. Future Living’s mission is to enable families of people with developmental disability to plan and implement services that enhance their quality of life and provide a long-term secure future.
