Governor’s Christmas Message

Susie and I wish all our fellow Western Australians the very best for a happy and safe Christmas.

Some are very much in our thoughts. Those on military bases here whose loved ones are deployed. Those of our first responders who need to be available on Christmas Day. Our community is protected around the clock and that involves sacrifices by some.

Being realistic, there are some fellow Western Australians at risk whose health, happiness and maybe safety is compromised. Our prayers are with them and hope for changes.

For most of us, this is a time when we strengthen the love and bonds between us and count our good fortune in our membership of this lovely community.
