The Governor addresses guests 30th July 2019 July 30, 2019 By Adele Hollywood Hosted reception for arts and culture educator groups The Governor and Ms Annus, together with the Hon David Templeman MLA Minister for Culture and the Arts, hosted a reception for executive representatives from arts and culture educator groups and stakeholders. The aim of the reception was to recognise and acknowledge the valued contributions of art and cultural educators to WA’s cultural vibrancy, as well as the development of young people, families and the wider community. ‘Recognising, celebrating and promoting Perth as a vibrant arts and cultural destination’ is one of the Governor’s priorities. Earlier in the day, the Governor met with a visiting delegation from the Republic of Burundi, including Ms Denise Bucumi Nkurunziza, First Lady of Burundi. Click on the images to save or enlarge.
