The Governor receives a tour of the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory 13th August 2019 August 13, 2019 By Adele Hollywood Visited Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory As part of the Governor’s Regional Visit Program outreach, the Governor visited the Gravity Discovery Centre and Observatory and met with the Shire of Gingin President, Councillors and CEO to chat about local issues. The Observatory is just one hour North of Perth and includes state of the art telescopes offering visitors a unique astronomy experience and interactive displays. Its AIGO research centre supports important research into gravitational wave detection.
