The Governor delivered a welcome address at the reception 8th October 2019 October 8, 2019 By Adele Hollywood The Governor hosted a reception for the City of Perth on the occasion of World Homeless Day 2019 (external link) In July 2019, the City of Perth Commissioners endorsed an Interim Homelessness Plan which includes more than 30 actions across four priority areas. The City in collaboration with State Government, Department of Communities, WA Police, local government authorities, peak bodies, not-for-profit organisations, faith based service groups, and the whole of community, will work together to roll out solutions to end homelessness.
