The Honourable Justice Rene Le Miere, deputy of the Governor hosted a reception for the Heart Foundation’s 60th anniversary.

The National Heart Foundation of Australia (WA Division) is one of the Governor’s patronage organisations.

The Heart Foundation (external link) is one of Australia’s most widely known and highly respected health promotion charities. It’s also one of the nation’s leading authorities on heart health.

From a local perspective, WA has led the way in the creation of a number of programs, such as LiveLighter, and Healthy Active by Design which is now a national Heart Foundation program.
