Ms Susie Annus, wife of the Governor, visits Six Seasons Garden

Ms Susie Annus, along with Government House Official Secretary / CEO Mrs Deborah Hegarty, Garden Manager Mr Phil Graham and Estate Manager Mr Mark Evans, visited the Six Seasons Garden at the ATCO Jandakot Operations Centre.

ATCO (external link) established the Six Seasons Garden earlier this year as part of their Reconciliation Action Plan. Designed by local Nyoongar woman Denice Kickett, the garden is used to educate ATCO employees and visitors on Nyoongar culture.

ACTO has also established a bush tucker garden and a kitchen where school children and migrant groups can learn about bush tucker food from a chef. There is also a large staff training facility.

The Governor will visit the garden and ATCO’s facility in the early new year.
