10th December 2019 • Meeting with the Giovanni Consort December 10, 2019 By Adele Hollywood The Governor met with Mr Hugh Lydon and Mr Alessandro Pittorino, Artistic Director and General Manager of the Giovanni Consort to discuss professional choirs within Australia. The Giovanni Consort is renowned for its exquisite, high-quality performances of unaccompanied choral music ranging from the medieval period to the present day. The Consort has previously performed at the Government House Ballroom as part of the Government House Foundation’s annual Music on the Terrace concert series.
