20th December 2019 • WA Charity Orchestra – Light the World Concert

The Governor attended the inter-faith “Light the World” Concert in support of Western Australia Charity Orchestra (WACO) external link.

WACO and the WACO Choir were accompanied by nine different musical acts from different faiths.

 The 2019 “Light the World” Concert program featured:

• Daana, Buddhist Society of WA
• Eastwinds, World Music Ensemble
• Father Robert Nixon OSB, New Norcia Benedictine Community
• Missionary Choir, Australia Perth Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
• Natasha Eldridge, Ballardong Noongar singer
• Saraswati Mahavidhyalaya, Hindu Institute
• Sikh Association of WA
• South African Gospel Choir
• WACO Choir
• Western Australian Charity Orchestra
