2nd December 2019 • Legacy WA Christmas Jingle

The Governor, as Patron of Legacy WA (external link), attended the annual Legacy WA Christmas Jingle Luncheon for Legacy beneficiaries.

For over 90 years, Legacy Australia has dedicated itself to the welfare and support of the widows and children of deceased war veterans, and is pledged to continue this vital role well into this century.

Since its inception in Western Australia on 9 June 1928, Perth Legacy and a sister club in WA (Fremantle Legacy) have served the Legacy family, consisting of dependants of deceased veterans from both World Wars, Korea, Malaya, Borneo, Vietnam, the Gulf, those sent on all peacekeeping operations and more recently those resulting from Australia’s role in the War Against Terror.
