The Hon. Paul Papalia CSC MLA, Minister for Defence Issues, is responsible for the Office of Defence West, which was announced on 26 May 2017. Defence West, within the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation (JTSI), is the Western Australian Government office responsible for supporting the interests of the local defence industry.
