Perth Unites is a community event to raise awareness of the bushfire tragedy in the Eastern states, and to fundraise for the bushfire victims and wildlife. Held at Hyde Park in Mt Lawley, supporters included City of Vincent, Perth Mosque, Buddhist Society of WA, Haka for Life, Corroboree for Life, Sisterhood Empowerment and others. The family-friendly event included a cricket game, bouncy castles, face painting and henna artists with 100% of the proceeds going to bushfire victims and wildlife. All participating organisations and food stalls agreed to submit 100% of the proceeds to bushfire victims. A cricket bat was auctioned to raise funds for the Red Cross Australia Disaster Relief Fund and Muslim Aid Australia.
