The Governor with VIPs at the Business Evening function 20th February 2020 • Keynote speech at Rotary Club Business Evening February 21, 2020 By Adele Hollywood Rotary District 9455 (northern WA) held a function to acknowledge the Governor’s new Patronage of the organisation. The Governor delivered a keynote speech on the importance of volunteering and giving in our society. Rotary in Western Australia (external link) is divided into two areas: District 9455 – for members who live or work in the northern part of the state (north of the Swan River) District 9465 – for members who live or work in the southern part of the state. The Rotary Club of Perth was the first WA Rotary Club, commencing in 1926. Rotary in Western Australia will celebrate its centenary in 2027.
