7th February 2020^Brunch for Perth Festival artists and stakeholders

The Governor and Ms Annus hosted a brunch for Perth Festival artists and stakeholders to bring together artists with various valued members of the arts community.

Today is the first day of the Festival, which runs until Sunday, 1st March showcasing more than 250 events across theatre, music, dance, opera, film, visual arts and literature and ideas.

At the brunch, Aunty Roma McGuire gave a Welcome to Country, followed by remarks from the Governor which acknowledged the Festival’s focus on Indigenous culture, and its first home-grown Artistic Director Mr Iain Grandage.
