How you can hear the Governor’s reflections on ANZAC Day 2020 April 23, 2020 By Adele Hollywood Due to COVID-19 restrictions, ANZAC Day will be commemorated in new and ‘virtual’ ways this year to ensure the safety of our community. Over the past month, the Governor has been busy making sure that the traditional Vice Regal ANZAC Day message can be delivered to the community; and that veterans and their families are not forgotten. The following radio and TV stations will broadcast The Ode, The Last Post and the one minute’s silence: Radio From 5:55am ABC Radio (and again from 11.30am) 6PR 96FM 6IX TV From 5:55am ABC TV will broadcast The Last Post, followed by a minute of silence as part of the National Memorial Service program by the Australian War Memorial. From 11.30am ABC TV will also broadcast a two-minute reflection which will include The Ode and The Last Post, followed by a minute of silence.
