Image credit: Foodbank WA Spotlight on Governor’s Patronage – Volunteering WA seek volunteers to help people impacted by COVID-19 April 2, 2020 By Adele Hollywood Western Australians who can lend a hand to help those affected by COVID-19 are being asked to register their details with Volunteering WA. Volunteering WA is the peak body for volunteering groups in Western Australia and have established a new ‘emergency support volunteer list’. The list will allow volunteers to be matched with people who are impacted during this current crisis, and future ones. Activities that people can help with include: Welfare checks Urgent household maintenance Delivering supplies Pick-up and drop-off of medications/groceries Essential transportation Register to help If you are located in Western Australia and you’re interested in supporting others through volunteering, visit the Volunteering WA Emergency Volunteer website (external link) and follow the instructions to register.
