About Spinnaker Since 1996 Spinnaker Health Research Foundation (formerly Fremantle Hospital Medical Research Foundation) has funded medical break-throughs and critical research at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital. The foundation supports innovative health and medical research across the whole of the Perth south metropolitan region, including Fiona Stanley and Fremantle Hospitals and in collaboration with universities and research institutions in Western Australia.
