The Governor with Mr Tony Hume and Ms Katie O’Donnell from Variety WA Meeting with Mr Tony Hume and Ms Katie O’Donnell, Variety WA June 10, 2020 By Adele Hollywood The Governor met with Mr Tony Hume, CEO, and Ms Katie O’Donnell, Executive Manager, from Variety WA. Variety WA rely on donations from the community and have had to cancel a number of large events for 2020 including the Toy Bank luncheons due to COVID-19. The Governor and the Governor’s Establishment prepared a donation of toys which will be given to children in refuges, who have been forced to flee their homes due to domestic violence incidents. Each toy gives a child joy and hope, by showing that someone cares.
