The Governor speaking at the 28th Annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast 28th Annual Governor’s Prayer Breakfast August 14, 2020 By Adele Hollywood The Governor’s Prayer Breakfast is an annual event where state leaders join with the community in fellowship and prayer for Western Australia, displaying unity across the denominations. This was the 28th year of the event and the Governor was in attendance to deliver an address. To ensure COVID-19 safety guidelines and to guard the health and wellbeing of attendees, it was decided to move to a free, live streamed event and attendees were encouraged to gather with friends and family to watch the event and join together in prayer. This year’s keynote speaker was Malcolm Smith, Founder and Executive Director of Adult and Teen Challenge WA, as sadly, Ravi Zacharias, who was to be the keynote speaker, passed away 19th May 2020. The Governor is proud to be patron of the Governor’s Prayer Breakfast. Post navigation Call with Peter Fitzpatrick AO, AM (Mil), FSAE, GAICDGovernor assents emergency Bill View all Articles
