The UWA Choral Society perform to a sell-out crowd in the Ballroom Restart the Arts Review – UWA Choral Society perform sell-out show in the Ballroom August 31, 2020 By Adele Hollywood The UWA Choral Society performed as part of the Restart the Arts with Government House initiative The UWA Choral Society performed to a sell-out audience in the Government House Ballroom on Sunday, 30th August. An amateur choir established in 1931, the choir was conducted by Kristin Bowtell and supported by West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) prize winners George Unkovich, Isaac Masters and Bella Marslen. Irene Shaw accompanied the choir on the stunning grand piano. Repertoire included favourites by Mozart, Faure, Vivaldi, Palestrina and Tallis.
