The ensemble performing live on the Government House Ballroom stage Restart the Arts • Review: ‘The Power of Strings’ presented by Cygnus Arioso August 18, 2020 By Adele Hollywood As part of the Restart the Arts with Government House initiative, local classical music ensemble ‘Cygnus Arioso’ performed to a live audience in the Ballroom on Sunday 16th August. Building on the success of their highly successful Paganini Caprice Relay (performed online by 17 violinists on a Zoom conference call), this concert brought together some of these players in person for the first time. In this new string orchestra formation, Cygnus Arioso revived the power of ensemble performance.
