The Governor with Mr Peter Coleman – CEO Woodside Petroleum Received a briefing on Woodside’s COVID-19 recovery from CEO Mr Peter Coleman September 4, 2020 By Adele Hollywood The Governor met with Mr Peter Coleman – CEO Woodside and received a briefing on how Woodside has been impacted by COVID-19 and its recovery efforts and future opportunities. Mr Coleman has more than 35 years in the global oil and gas business, including 27 years’ experience with the ExxonMobil Group. Appointed an Adjunct Professor in Corporate Strategy by the University of Western Australia in 2012. In addition to his role at Woodside, Mr Coleman is also; Chair of the Australia-Korea Foundation, Director of the Business Council of Australia and a Member of the Executive Committee of the Australia Japan Business Co-operation Council and Australian Institute of Company Directors. Woodside is the pioneer of the LNG industry in Australia and the largest Australian natural gas producer. Woodside has a global portfolio and are recognised for their world-class capabilities as an integrated upstream supplier of energy. Earlier this year, Australia overtook Qatar as the world’s biggest exporter of LNG.
