The Governor addressing the Airborne Forces Association at the Commemoration Service Commemoration Service for Airborne Forces Association September 26, 2020 By Adele Hollywood On Saturday 26th September 2020 the Governor attended the commemoration service for Airborne Forces Association (AFA), formally known as The Pegasus Association. The Governor presented with a plaque from the Airborne Forces Association outside Perth Cathedral This service was to give thanks for the dedication and sacrifice of all who have served in Airborne Forces since its establishment in 1940. The Governor with the Airborne Forces Association outside St. George’s Cathedral Founded in WA in 1968, the AFA of WA exists for the purposes of furthering the interests of Airborne forces members past and present of any member country of the British Commonwealth and it’s allies.
