Joined by Ben Hamilton, Chief Executive Officer, Yvonne Power, Chief Operating Officer/Co-Founder and Adam Gilchrist, Ambassador, the Governor toured the offices and observed a demonstration of Village Energy’s technology. The Governor with Adam Gilchrist – Ambassador and Ben Hamilton – CEO from Village Energy Village Energy specifically look at areas that experience energy challenges. Using artificial intelligence and not infrastructure, a software and hardware solution is installed that then enables the optimisation of the electrical grid in the area to meet growing energy demands. Village Energy is doing tremendous work developing technology that is working to resolve these energy demands in developing countries.” The Governor Village Energy are making solid moves into Indian and Indonesian markets via promising pilot projects: including through support of their ‘Ambassador’ Adam Gilchrist. Along with Vietnam, it is widely considered that India and Indonesia are priority Australian markets. Staff explaining the evolution of the Village Energy Smart Meter Village Energy’s core belief is that access to stable power supply is the cornerstone of a thriving community. Within remote communities that already have access to a power grid, supply is more often than not, unreliable. They are addressing this through the implementation of highly advanced technology. Village Energy Smart Meter evolution This solution will allow residents of remote villages and towns to manage their power usage, monitor consumption and pay their periodic power bills with ease. They also implement the use of green energy to ensure better quality of power supply while also helping residents minimise their costs.
