New State Government Architect Rebecca Moore Picture: Danella Bevis The West Australian Meeting with WA Government Architect Ms Rebecca Moore October 16, 2020 By Adele Hollywood The Governor met with recently appointed WA Government Architect – Ms Rebecca Moore to discuss future infrastructure considerations for WA. In August 2020, Ms Moore became WA’s Government Architect and Chair of the State Design Review Panel where she will play a key role in the design review and assessment of METRONET plans and significant development proposals to be determined by the Western Australian Planning Commission under the planning reform laws. She will also provide expert and independent advice to the Planning Minister and WA Premier on key projects and strategic planning and development matters. Ms Moore is an architect with extensive experience in architecture, planning and building. During her time with State Administrative Tribunal of WA, she has gained extensive experience in decision-making and mediation across a broad range of design, planning, heritage and construction matters.
