Meeting with WA Women’s Hall of Fame

The Governor met with Fiona Reid, Chairperson of the WA Women’s Hall of Fame and Hazel Butorac, Committee Member to provide an update on the WA Women’s Hall of Fame activities and discuss plans for the 2021 event.

The WA Women’s Hall of Fame was first established in 2011 in recognition of the Centenary of International Women’s Day held annually on 8th March. It’s purpose is to recognise and celebrate the achievements of Western Australian women past, present and future.

To date, 213 extraordinary Western Australian women from all regions in this State, and from diverse educational, organisational and cultural backgrounds who have left their mark in our communities have been inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame.
