Defence West, local industry and key stakeholders at Government House for end of year reception “It is my pleasure to welcome representatives from across the Defence and Defence Industry sector for the Defence West End of Year Reception. This event presents an opportunity for us to reflect on the great work done across the sector and also to consider the next steps to further enhance Western Australia’s defence and defence industry capabilities. The recent Defence Ready Initiative which has awarded financial support to a number of SMEs is a demonstration of Defence West’s growing leadership within the sector. In a short space of time Defence West has helped to build a strong foundation to support Western Australia’s defence and defence industry sector. As we plan for 2021 and the future more broadly, it is important that we continue our efforts to truly launch our State’s defence industry (and other enabling) capabilities, and let our strengths and contributions be recognised across the country.” The Governor Post navigation Swearing-in for Mr Simon Dieter FreitagCelebrating the graduates of WAALI Emerging Leaders Program View all Articles
