“Tonight we celebrate and appreciate the extraordinary contribution of the Government House Foundation Council, donors and volunteers. This event is also a wonderful opportunity to introduce leaders within the community to the invaluable work of the Government House Foundation.

Government House is a place which belongs to the people of Western Australia and is a source of pride for all of us. It is a living, breathing, working house. A place for networking to advance the State’s interests and to recognise people who contribute to the fabric of our community. It is a place for community engagement, where important conversations are facilitated with people from all walks of life.

I wish to extend my sincere thanks to each and every one of you for your contributions and support of the Government House Foundation.  I look forward to hearing of the Foundations plans for 2021 and hope that you all enjoy this evening’s function.”
