Lunch with Regional Development Council

Following a series of regional visits in 2020 as part of the Governor’s ‘Regional Visit Program‘, the Governor invited the Regional Development Council to lunch at Government House to discuss the important role of the regions and the opportunities that exist for economic growth and shared prosperity for the State as a whole.

The Regional Development Council comprises of the Chairs of the State’s nine Regional Development Commissions and the Director General of the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development. The Council is the key advisory body to the Western Australian State Government all regional issues and development matters.
