The Governor and Ms Annus meeting with Ms Deb Carr, Chair, Rottnest Island Chamber of Commerce Inc. and Mr Phil Richards- Vice Chair ATEC Western Australia Meeting with Rottnest Island Chamber of Commerce December 4, 2020 By Adele Hollywood The Governor met with Ms Deb Carr, Chair of the Rottnest Island Chamber of Commerce Inc. and Mr Phil Richards the Vice Chair of Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) Western Australia following up on the Governor’s visit to Rotnest Island in October 2020 to further discussions held on the impacts of Covid-19 on Tourism and how to bring together associations in the industry. The Rottnest Island Chamber of Commerce Inc. represents the commercial interests of the businesses that operate on or in connection with the Island. These include the ferries, accommodation, entertainments, shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as the maintenance and supply services. ATEC is the peak industry body representing Australia’s $45 billion tourism export sector.
