Performed by Mezzo Soprano Ashlyn Tymms and pianist Raymond Yong of WA Opera, ‘Heart of a Gypsy’ embarked on a musical journey from the spirited Spanish folk songs of Manuel de Falla Siete canciones populares españolas to Debussy’s Moonlight magic. This performance combined virtuosity, passionate storytelling and peaceful tranquility. Heart of a Gypsy was presented as part of the Restart the Arts with Government House initiative.
