January 29, 2021 By Adele Hollywood Special Executive Council Meeting The Governor received Ms Vivian Molan, Clerk of the Executive Council this morning, ahead of welcoming Premier Mark McGowan and Deputy Premier Roger Cook to the Executive Council for the dissolution of Parliament. Presiding over Executive Council is one of the key constitutional functions of the role of Governor. The Governor met with Premier Mark McGowan and Deputy Premier Roger Cook in a special Executive Council meeting. Call with the Republic of Indonesia’s Ambassador to Australia One of the Governor’s primary roles is to represent the people of Western Australia in welcoming dignitaries to the State. Today the Governor had the privilege of welcoming His Excellency Mr Yohanes Kristiarto Soeryo LEGOWO to Government House, Perth. The Ambassador was accompanied by Madame Dewi Gustina Tobing, Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Perth and Mr Mohamad Zakaria Al Anshori, Minister Counsellor/Coordinator for Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Canberra.
