SUPPORTING WA OPERA IN 2021

2021 promises to be an exciting season for the WA Opera with a special 30th Anniversary Gala Concert celebrating the iconic City of Perth Opera in the Park event, as well as a packed program of performances across the year.

As patron of WA Opera, the Governor today received an update from Executive Director Carolyn Chard AM on how the 2021 season is shaping up, as well as recording a special video message in honour of the company’s Opera in the Park anniversary year.

As part of his message the Governor congratulated the company and its supporters on an exciting program to come, and encouraged West Australians to get behind WA’s professional opera company which has been a part of the WA arts landscape for over 50 years.
