The Governor was honoured to open the Naval Sea Power in Miniature Exhibition, created by Gerry Westenberg, at the WA Shipwrecks Museum in Fremantle.

“You must see Gerry Westernberg’s exhibition of his exquisite ship modelling at our world class Shipwrecks Museum. He is among the best modellers in the world with a painstaking attention to detail,” said the Governor.

“Wrapped up in the exhibition is a lot of Australian history, including World War II history and also our submarine program. You will enjoy it enormously, as I did opening it.”

“This is a worthwhile thing to do, even if you have been to the WA Shipwrecks museum before.”

The Naval Sea Power in Miniature exhibition runs until Sunday, 18 April 2021. The museum is open daily between 9.30am – 5.00pm and is located at 47 Cliff Street. Fremantle. See more via their website here
