Tour of WA Museum – Boola Bardip

The Governor and Ms Annus today enjoyed a tour of just some of the many quality exhibits on display at the new WA Museum, Boola Bardip

The Museum, which opened in November 2020, is one of the state’s premier cultural destinations and whilst the Governor has briefly visited previously he was keen to spend more time taking in the array of amazing displays and exhibitions capturing the history, culture and stories of Western Australia.

“Another opportunity today to see arguably one of the must-see attractions these days in WA and that is Boola Bardip, our magnificent new museum,” said the Governor.

“I am always totally impressed with its interactive character, and the sheer quality of what is on display and its interpretation.”

The Governor thanked WA Museum CEO Alec Cole and Foundation for the WA Museum CEO, Jenny Allen for taking the time out of their busy schedules to show them around and encouraged every West Australian to add Boola Bardip to their list of must-do’s.

“It is an enormous family-friendly destination that everyone should add to their list of places to visit.”

Boola Bardip is located in the Perth Cultural Centre and is open daily from 9am until 5pm. Entry is free. This museum is one of seven West Australian museums across the state, you can learn more about all of them here.
