Free lunchtime performances to celebrate Youth Week

The stunning gardens of Government House will be the backdrop for three lunchtime concerts being held next week as part of Youth Week WA 2021.

The Governor’s Establishment is excited to celebrate the State’s youth as part of the biggest celebration of young people on the Western Australian youth calendar. The lunchtime concerts are designed to showcase a range of amazing young musicians for the people of Perth to enjoy.

Since the COVID pandemic, the Governor and his wife Ms Susie Annus have been committed to opening up the House and Gardens to the general public, organisations and charities for community events, conferences and special occasions.

I’m really looking forward to welcoming Nasman Donovan, Farraday’s Cage and Brandon Poletti to Government House and to listening to them play,” said the Governor.

Youth Week really is an opportunity for us to celebrate and recognise young people, so I encourage young people and families to come in to Government House next week and support these young Perth musicians.”

Performance schedule:

Tuesday 13th April – 12.30pm – 1pm: Nasman Donovan

Wednesday 14th April – 1pm – 2pm: Farraday’s Cage
