Federal Defence Minister the Hon Peter Dutton MP arrives at Government House to meet with the Governor Meeting with Australia’s Defence Minister, and Executive Council April 20, 2021 By Carole Kerr The Governor started his day hosting a visit by Australia’s Defence Minister, The Hon Peter Dutton MP. The Minister stopped in for a chat with the Governor first thing this morning before wrapping up his visit to Western Australia and returning to Canberra. Executive Council The Governor presided over a meeting of Executive Council at Government House this morning, welcoming Minister for Mines and Petroleum; Energy; and Corrective Services the Hon Bill Johnston MLA, along with Minister for Child Protection; Women’s Interest; Prevention of Family and Domestic Violence; and Community Services the Hon Simone McGurk MLA Clerk of the Executive Council Ms Viv Molan was also in attendance.
