The Governor and Ms Annus enjoyed a visit to WA Museum Boola Bardip to view the Ancient Greeks exhibition Ancient Greeks exhibition at Boola Bardip, attended Consular Corp Reception July 28, 2021 By Carole Kerr Stepping back in time the Governor and Ms Annus enjoyed a visit to our world class WA Museum Boola Bardip to take in the Ancient Greeks: Athletes, Warriors and Heroes exhibition. The exhibition, on loan from the British Museum, is Boola Bardip’s first major international exhibition and is a showcase of some of the finest examples of Greek sculpture, armour, jewellery, vases and ancient sporting artefacts. 178 pieces are on display making this one of the largest selections of Greek artefacts loaned by the British Museum and an exhibition that should not be missed according to the Governor. ” One of the many advantages of having a superb place like Boola Bardip which is a world class museum, is that WA is able to attract world class exhibitions. Attended the Consular Corps Reception The Governor later attended the Consular Corps of Western Australia Inc Biennial Reception. The event is an opportunity to meet and chat with Consular Corps of WA members and partners and to celebrate the long term association and friendship members have with the WA Governor. The Governor was greeted by Mr Toru Suzuki, Consulate-General of Japan; Mr Bill Repard, Vice Dean of the Consular Corps and Mr John Goodlad, Honorary Consul of Colombia.
