The Governor received a briefing from officers in Canberra and Perth on efforts to help protect industry and government from the ever-evolving threat of cyber crime. The Perth office is part of a national cyber security footprint aimed at strengthening our digital borders and keeping West Australians safe from cyber attacks. Talking music and arts The importance of supporting WA arts and music was a key talking point today when acclaimed performer and artistic director Fiona Campbell popped into Government House for a chat with Ms Susie Annus. Ms Campbell and Ms Annus are both Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) Board Members and passionate promoters of the WA arts scene. Today’s meeting was a chance to discuss new ideas and ways to best support WAAPA, as well as an opportunity to chat about the Government House Foundation’s Music Program, off which Ms Campbell is Artistic Director.
