Mr Greensmith was part of a panel discussion at the Youth Democracy Forum Governor’s Lecture Series: Youth Democracy Forum with Mr Glynn Greensmith July 1, 2021 By Adele Hollywood Mr Glynn Greensmith, ABC Reporter and Curtin University Lecturer, was one of five guest speakers who took part in the Governor’s Youth Democracy Forum at Government House during Youth Week WA 2021. Youth representatives from WA’s five universities attended and heard from key presenters including the Hon Robert French AC, Chancellor of the University of Western Australia, to discuss the emerging challenges to democracy. The event provided an opportunity for young people to hear about, and contribute to, discussions around a range of topics centering on the future of democracy in Australia and globally. Mr Greensmith was joined by The Hon. Robert French, Chancellor UWA, the Honourable Samantha Rowe MLS, Professor Ben Reilly and Cr Georgie Carey (Town of Mosman Park) at the Youth Democracy Forum.
