Update from Edith Cowan University, and talking ways to support WA charities

The Governor and Ms Annus today received an update on the development of Edith Cowan University’s Inner City Campus.

The Campus, due to open in 2025, is a $695 million project that will see a Creative Industries, Business and Technology campus built at Yagan Square.

ECU Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Arshad Omari and Vice President (Enterprise and Development) Sonia Mackay-Coghill today provided a progress report on the major project during a visit to Government House. You can learn more about the project here 

Meeting with Mark Whately

The Governor today caught up with Perth businessman Mark Whately, from the Brian Whately Foundation to discuss ideas to help local charities.

The discussion centered around an awareness program to get people to donate to organisations that are working to support the WA community.
