The Governor toured Aurora 3D Labs in Canning Vale to learn about their innovative metal printing technology 3D innovation on show, and meeting with the Australian Conservation Foundation August 5, 2021 By Carole Kerr WA innovation on show again today with the Governor paying a visit to Aurora Labs (A3D) in Canning Vale to view their unique 3D metal printing technology. A3D specialises in the development of 3D metal printing and is looking at how it can expand its technologies into high volume manufacturing opportunities, providing more cost-effective alternatives to more traditional methods. The Governor today toured A3D’s facilities, met with their technical team and received a briefing from CEO Peter Snowsill. “Aurora’s operations are another example of world class innovation and ideas coming out of this state,” said the Governor. “Chalk up another ‘gold medal’ Western Australia” Meeting with Australian Conservation Foundation WA representatives The Governor this afternoon welcomed members of the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) Perth Community Group to Government House.
