Full house for a ‘Divine’ afternoon A ‘Divine’ performance at Government House August 29, 2021 By Carole Kerr Government House’s Green Room was transformed into an intimate concert venue, thanks to the divine sounds of two of Australia’s finest divas, Fiona Campbell and Sara Macliver. ‘Divine Duets’ presented as part of the Government House Foundation’s Soiree Series, featured a collection of operatic, sacred and secular duets written by Mozart, Bellini, Handel, Mendelssohn and Brahms, sung by the duo and accompanied on the piano by Tommaso Pollio. The full performance was also recorded as part of the Melbourne Digital Concert Hall series and will be released for limited period viewing on Thursday 2 September.
