The awards recognise and celebrate outstanding contributions to our state. Focusing on WA’s Rare Earths industry The Governor today hosted a working breakfast bringing together senior industry, research and government representatives to examine opportunities to advance rare earths industries in WA. The gathering included Mines Minister the Honourable Bill Johnston MLA, the Consul Generals of Japan, India and the United States, key state government and industry figures, and mine operators. “Excellent breakfast with the Minister and senior people in the critical minerals industry. A discussion on next steps moving from mining through the various stages of production associated with rare earths,” said the Governor. “This is the direction of future industry and West Australia is perfectly positioned to play a central role.” Post navigation Talking health and medical research and scienceWA Innovation, celebrating STEM stars and a Murder on the Dance Floor View all Articles
