Hosted a meeting on Urban Planning

Six weeks on from the previous roundtable on urban planning, hosted in collaboration with the City of Perth, the Governor and Ms Annus today welcomed back key participants for a catch-up and update.

Today’s meeting was a chance to touch base on the progress of some of the ideas and actions generated at the earlier discussion which focused on the city’s urban planning and infrastructure needs and opportunities.

The Governor officially welcomed guests to Government House, with City of Perth CEO Ms Michelle Reynolds also addressing attendees on the important work the City of Perth is undertaking.

The meeting provided an opportunity for some of Perth’s leading planning specialists, City of Perth staff and government representatives to chat further about some of the key short-term recommendations to emerge from the July roundtable discussion.
