Spring Festival Opened at Araluen

Whilst it might not be Spring yet, Araluen Botanic Park’s Springtime Festival has been officially opened by the Governor.

The gardens were looking spectacular with volunteers and staff having planted 150,000 tulips this year.

In 1990 Araluen was purchased by the State Government  and is now run by the Araluen Botanic Park Foundation in liaison with the WA Planning Commission.

The Festival runs from 16 August until 3 October.
