Media interview with ABC Radio’s PM Program

As the world gets ready to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the September 11 attack it has been a busy week for the Governor on the media front.

As the Leader of the Federal Opposition at the time of the terrorist attack the Governor has conducted a number of interviews this week with media outlets, emergency service organisations and strategic policy institutes recalling his memories of the day, and the strategic and political responses by Australia, the United States and other key global partners in its wake.

Amongst the interviews conducted the Governor today spoke to ABC PM’s Samantha Donovan. You can listen to the interview here.

He also took part in an ABC Television documentary 9/11 Stories – a special program hosted by John Barron that talks to 20 Australians whose lives were forever changed by the attack 20 years ago.

The documentary airs on ABCTV at 8.00pm, Saturday 11 September.
