A special event to announce the 2021 WA Export Awards was held at Government House Celebrating WA’s 2021 Export Award winners October 6, 2021 By Carole Kerr A celebration of WA industry tonight with the announcement of the 2021 WA Export Award winners at Government House. The Governor joined the Honourable Bill Johnston MLA in presenting awards to thirteen category winners across a variety of industries ranging from technologies and creative industries, to health, education, professional services, agribusiness, and E-Commerce. The WA Exporter of the Year award was also presented, with the 2021 winner announced as CBH Grain. You can view a full list of winners via the Minister’s media release here The Governor and Ms Annus welcomed winners, recipients and guests to Government House, acknowledging the critical role that WA industries play in generating the state’s economic growth and development. “You are all extraordinary examples of Western Australia’s determination to succeed,” said the Governor. “It is such a pleasure to celebrate and recognise excellence across our exporting businesses.” The Awards are coordinated by Invest and Trade Western Australia, part of the WA Government’s Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation, in partnership with the Export Council of Australia. The 13 category winners will now progress to the National Export Awards next month.
