Garden tours and Artists at work

Perfect day to show off our gardens and who better to appreciate them than garden club members.

A big welcome to the crew from Ellenbrook Community Garden Club who enjoyed a lengthy stroll around the 3.2 hectares of Government House Gardens, whilst getting a history and horticulture lesson from our gardener Colin.

Club members arrived at the right time with our rose garden back in bloom for the spring season.

Capturing their own perspective on Government House and Gardens this week were members of the WA Watercolour Society who also popped in.

It’s always so interesting to see how various artists view the same vistas in so many different ways, and always a treat to see Government House captured so beautifully.
