Kambarang season at Government House

It’s Kambarang season at Government House, a transformational time of year that is also known as the ‘season of birth’ or ‘second spring’ on the six season Noongar calendar.

Our Government House Gardens are full of new arrivals and the parks and bush around Perth and the southwest are bursting with colour as wildflower season arrives in force.

At Government House we love learning as much as we can about the Noongar calendar and for Kambarang – which runs October through November – we are fortunate to have former WA Treasurer Ben Wyatt tell us more in this video below.
